Artist's Comments

I currently commissioned a friend to do a portrait of my "fursona" with patriotic theme. Since a lot of people are confused between "The Republic" and "People's Republic" of China. I made this picture to ensure my friend don't accidentally draw me as a Commie.

***Artist note*** I am not entire sure how i should categorize this particular piece. Please advice.

On the identity of being Chinese, I have something interest for you to watch on youtube.

Nine Commentaries on Chinese Communist Party
------------------------------------------------------------------------
[link]

You don't need to actually watch it, just run the Youtube film on the background and listen to it would do. Since there are 9 Commentaries. It'd take a while so don't worry about the whole thing. But I do recommend you to listen what this have to say about how Commie Bastards destroyed the traditional Chinese values and various religious values.

This will simply prove why Commies aren't worthy to represent us Chinese. Since the best interest of Chinese in the Commie's mind is to destroy us all inside out.

It sure ain't photomanipulation.

Now let's just hope he doesn't think of it as Taiwan, although he probably will. Just like those some of those living there.

Yeah, I was kinda tired and lazy. I just wish I can simply take the category of "political" or whatever instead of filling every category. By the way, the artist is a girl. ;) She is one of these history folks (even got reenactment gears of 18th century) and I talked to her in person before. I think she and her friends gets what I am getting at.

Mind if I ask why this grabbed your attention?
:iconboyars6:
Wow a little geopolitical history here. Great and very accurate images of the different flags of ROC and PRC.
:icondeerock-gorilla:
Thanks. All I want to do is The People's Republic isn't the only China out there and what they do here disgrace to all of us who has "Chinese" in our identity. And yes, I am a Chinese Canadian who is born and raised in Taiwan (where the Republic at).

You saw the recent activities done by these commie bastards. If I harbor tolerance to the Commies, that means I tolerate their atrocities and for that I deserve to be spit at.
:iconsquato:
Not a bad breakdown you have here, a good way of showing the difference in their designs to the uninformed.

Too be fair, the Communist Party of China are said to have made their designers like that used in the USSR because they had wanted to build a close relationship between them. I don't know how true that is meant to be, but in the early days both China (mainland) and the USSR had tried to build a friendship together. Didn't work, but they did give it a try somewhat.

Thanks and i am glad you find this piece of information meaningful.

Basically the Commie bastards introduced something complete foreign and harmful to the land of Middle Kingdom. Of course the Chinese Commie Bastards only answer to the Russian Commie Bastards.

Simply put, Mao is Stalin's biggest fanboy and I bet Mao would suck Stalin's certain body parts if Stalin says so.
:iconboyars6:
Are you refereeing to the law in PRC about the filters that that government wants to hard wire onto all computers in that country. That can be programed to exclude offensive material that parents don't want their children to see? And can also be used by the government to look into to their personal computer with out their knowledge and can be programed to exclude certain dialects offensive to the government?

Or are you talking about that repression of those minorities? Treatment of their workers in the coal mines, factories, and farms? I mean there are allot of things that they are doing that is wrong.

Also, I know you are proud of your ancestry however is their not also a movement to change the name from the Republic of China (which was the name chosen of the government in exile after fleeing the mainland) to Taiwan. That would in essence return the island to origional name and independence it held for the most part of the civil war in china and the brutal invasion of Kang Ki Sheck.
:icondeerock-gorilla:
CCP (Chinese Communist Party) has been committing atrocities since the day they founded their organization in China during the 20s. From causing riots in farming communities to "purifying the party" in the 50s, Culture Revolution to today. We can at least say that there's over 80 million Chinese (of different ethnic groups or background) died directly or indirectly in hands of Mao. And another fairly big unknown number died in unnatural causes after Mao's reign

As the movement you speak of is Democratic Progressive Party in Taiwan. [link]

There's a lot to be mentioned about the story behind the movement and why the "so-called" Taiwanese loaths Chiang Kai-shek.

I'll just focus on the "independence of Taiwan" these Greenies (the nickname for DPPers). First of all, China (Imperial) lost Taiwan and related territories to Japan in the first Sino-Japanese War (Jia-wu War)[link] After WW2, Taiwan and related territories return to the Chinese Government (republic) and of course we sent some troops to Taiwan to organize and secure the island. It is a known fact that there are Japanese Communists and remanant of guys who are loyal to Japan (another word, bullying regular Taiwanese folks) waited to messing around. Its only sensible to send some troops over.

Problem is that the troops aren't very impressive to look at since we lost many good troops in WW2 and we have to use good troops to fight Commies. So it made a bad impression. Of course, things kinda spin out of control and caused 228 incident. Some call it massacre but Leftists and anarchists pretty much abuse that word. From what we know 228 ended with a bunch of "so called Taiwanese" going after people who are from other provinces and burn raped and pillaged. This is nothing like what the Greenies would say as "Taiwanese vs Mainlanders". However, a lot of innocent people lost their live because that happened in the heat of Chinese Civil war that spelled doom for the Mainland.

Hence that's the "Brutal invasion of Chiang Kai-shek" you heard of. Apparently these guys never seen what "Brutal" is made of. And without Chiang, these Greenies and me will die in the hand of commies already because upon another major crisis, Commies would come for us all and go across the Taiwan Straight.

I wonder if you are able to read and listen Chinese. Because its just too darn hard for me to go over everything right here. If you can, I can provide you some useful stuff to listen.
:iconsquato:
Well...not really. He did try to become BBF with Stalin, but he did work out that the Russians wouldn't try to deal with him as equals. So he did "forget" things that the Russians felt China should have done for them. Still, he did have hope that both of them would work together as equals one day so as to bring the workers revolution to the rest of the world.

(Please note, this is largely me remembering things I covered in school years ago and might not be as true as it could be.)

Well, that is most certainly informative and I will admit that most of my historical information of china since 1800 has been taken from mainly American, Canadian, and European history. I have never read a direct source of Chines history (with possible exception of Twilight in the Forbidden City). So given all this it can be pretty well assumed that I can't read or listen to the Chinese dialect with out translation.

Nonetheless, you have spiked my interest in the latter history of the 'Two China's' and would gladly accept any information you can provide me. So I can become more informed culturally and historically (I.E. more accurate) when I even do find myself again discussing the China's.
